On Saturday, September 19, Love Your Block and Four Corners Main Streets will host a neighborhood cleanup from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.. We will be meeting at 10 Harvard Avenue in Dorchester. Masks are required for participation and tools will be available.

This class is a total body workout that will get your heart rate pumping and will include a 6-minute warm up followed by blocks of body-weight exercises that target the upper body, lower body, core and cardio for a full body experience. We will end with a cool down and some stretching. Bring some water and a yoga/fitness mat if you have one.

Leaf and yard waste drop-off

We hold drop-off events throughout the year, starting in April.

Drop-off events are available to Boston residents. The events run from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Leaf and yard waste tips
  • Common yard waste material includes leaves and grass clippings, branches, and yard brush.
  • Place leaves and yard debris in large paper bags. Do not use plastic bags.  
  • Tie branches with string. The maximum size for branches is three feet with a one-inch diameter.
