Let's dance under the stars and celebrate the rhythm of life! Get ready to groove to the beats of DJ Bruno, who will be celebrating 36 years as a DJ! 

Join us on the City Hall Plaza from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the best House tunes! This is a free event and is open to the public. Let's make this night a memory to cherish!

Presented in partnership with AfriQue Events, the event will feature a mix of Afro Beats, Salsa, Reggae, Zouk, and more. The DJ lineup includes DJ Prince, DJ Papadon, DJ Snax, and Ben Superior, bringing nonstop music to the dance floor throughout the afternoon. Additional activities include a photo booth by SnapsBoston, face painting, and live performances. Food trucks from Suya Joint will be on site.

The City of Boston, along with American Repertory Theatre (ART) at Harvard University, ArtsEmerson, Company One Theatre, Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), Lars Jan, Boston University Center on Forced Displacement, Boston University Arts Initiative, Extinction Rebellion Boston, Foxborough Public Schools, RefugePoint, and The Puppet Free Library, will welcome Little Amal to the City of Boston September 7 - 9, 2023.

The dedication of the Route 20 Medal Of Honor Highway completes the now coast to coast highway across 12 States. This is a 3,365 mile trail along US Route 20 from Newport, Oregon to Kenmore Square in Boston that honors the service and sacrifice of America’s 3,516 Medal Of Honor recipients.

Our arts and crafts workshops are led by local artists. They're held Tuesday through Friday in July and August and run from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. These drop-in workshops encourage kids to explore their creativity through projects like mask making, crayon art, watercolor and much more. Supplies are provided, but you'll need to bring your creativity! 

This series is completely free and open to Boston residents. These workshops will take place in various parks throughout the City of Boston.

Registration is encouraged so we know how many supplies to bring (pre-registration is required for groups of 8 or more). Please email allison.singer2@boston.gov to register.
