Reporting for Boston's Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO) has changed for 2022. In this webinar, those who are new to reporting can learn how to benchmark buildings in Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM), and those who have used ESPM before can learn about the new process to submit that data for BERDO. We'll also discuss how to request a reporting extension and how to complete third-party verification.

Multifamily Building Electrification Webinar

If you’re an apartment or building owner looking at electrification as a way to comply with future BERDO targets, you may be wondering how it could work for your building.

March 29, 2022
2022-03-29T16:00:00 - 2022-03-29T17:00:00

While there are a growing number of new construction all-electric multifamily buildings, there are fewer existing multifamily buildings being retrofitted with the goal of full electrification. Building Electrification Institute’s (BEI) Playbooks for the Equitable Electrification of Multifamily Buildings use example buildings to discuss important considerations for retrofitting multifamily buildings with different characteristics, including costs for new technologies, electrical service upgrades, and tenant disruption. Join Caytie Campbell-Orrock (BEI) and Robin Neri (Steven Winter Associates) to hear about the options and ask your questions.

Translation and sign language interpreters are available upon request to retrofit@boston.gov by noon on Friday, March 25.
