Shiloh Holder
Shiloh Holder, is a dynamic young Caribbean-American leader dedicated to service, advocacy, and community impact. As a two-term Student Council President at Boston Latin Academy, she has spearheaded events, mentored younger students, and worked to ensure student voices are heard. She also serves as a Dance Team Captain and Student Ambassador, demonstrating her commitment to leadership and mentorship both inside and outside the classroom.
Beyond school, Shiloh is deeply engaged in healthcare and public service. She is an intern with the Student Success Jobs Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she supports pre-operative care, shadows medical professionals, and gains hands-on experience in a high-stakes environment. She previously worked in the hospital’s nutrition department, where she learned how to cater to patients’ diverse health needs. Shiloh’s passion for community empowerment extends to her role at Boston Girls Empowerment Network, further strengthening her commitment to uplifting young women in her city. She is also a dedicated musician, playing multiple instruments with Branches Steel Orchestra. Her leadership and dedication have been recognized through a $5,500 CIEE Scholarship to study abroad in Shanghai, China, and a State Senate Official Citation for completing her internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
