Denise Kasrawi
Denise Kasrawi, LICSW is the Clinical Director of YouthConnect, with more than 20 years of experience working directly with Boston’s most at-risk youth in various neighborhoods throughout the city, including her work as an art therapist in a hospital, social work in the Department of Youth Services in residential care, within a substance abuse program, an on-call trauma response team for Boston, and in a legal support and advocacy team for juveniles. Denise received her MSW from Boston University. Having worked with several nonprofits in the Greater Boston area, Denise has extensive leadership and management experience. Denise has been supervising social workers or front-line staff for more than 20 years now. She has exceptional program, infrastructure, and policy development skills.
Denise received her post-graduate degree from Boston University in the Advanced Treatment for Psychological Trauma. She is certified in EMDR, Psychological First Aid, and Neurosequential Resiliency Processing. Denise is passionate about providing every social worker with the tools and interventions to serve their clients and families in a holistic and evidence-based manner.
