Tom is a Neighborhood Business Manager who oversees the Fields Corner Main Streets. Tom is also the contact for small businesses in the following neighborhood commercial districts: Fields Corner, the North End, Washington Gateway, South Boston, and Savin Hill.

Tom is a graduate of Boston University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Political Science and Communications). Prior to joining the Mayor's Office of Economic Development, Tom served as an Administrative Aide in federal, state and local government.

Aside from his experience in government, Tom boasts a long record of achievement as an organizer and director in political campaigns, including successful overseas experience. His professional endeavors, combined with his love of community and people, provided him many opportunities to become involved with organizations, businesses, and non-profit boards. Tom is a member of a large family originally from Jamaica Plain. Tom and his wife (Mary Lou) live in the neighborhood of Savin Hill in Boston.
