Kenny Arana Fennell
Kenny Arana Fennell (he/him) is the Implementation Manager of the Planning Advisory Council. In this role, Kenny works to improve Boston’s built environment by creating new systems and tools to track progress against plans and supporting improved project coordination across city departments.
Previously, Kenny led consulting teams to advise state and local governments on a range of topics including federal funds strategy and management and the future of transportation. He began his career as a civil engineer working in international development. Kenny holds a Master of Public Policy Degree from the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan, a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Northeastern University, and is a Head Start graduate.
Outside of work Kenny enjoys traveling, bike touring, and cooking for family and friends. He lives in Jamaica Plain and can often be found walking around Jamaica Pond and the Arboretum with a coffee and a pastry from a local bakery.
