Original Proposal

This proposal will offer grants to nonprofit organizations to build community gardens on underutilized land for public access and use. It will prioritize areas where people have limited access to affordable, nutritious food. This project will create a healthier environment, beautify the community, address food insecurity, and build camaraderie among residents. Garden operations must have a robust rodent management plan.
