Design improvements will include:

  • new opportunities for active and passive recreation
  • ball field improvements including batting cage
  • intergenerational pedestrian amenities
  • playground renovations
  • sport court resurfacing, and
  • drainage improvements.

We will explore energy efficient LED lighting, water use reduction, and additional opportunities for carbon footprint reduction. Urban Forest Plan priorities, such as proactively protecting and amending conditions to support the health of the existing trees, will help to guide the design direction.
