Larisa Castellon Melara is the Compliance Manager in the Mayor’s Office of Language and Communication Access (OLCA).  Her role includes working directly with a number of departments to ensure citywide compliance for the OLCA policy and ordinance. 

Larisa graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Boston with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and a Concentration in International Management. She is an immigrant from El Salvador and recently became an US Citizen. As an English learner, she is passionate about helping immigrants like her to make sure they have all the resources they need in an accessible way. 

When she is not working, you can find her spending time with her two puppies Jace and Alec, trying new restaurants all over Massachusetts, or spending time with her family.
