Ivie Igbineweka (she/her/hers) is the Administration and Finance Manager for the Mayor's Office of Language and Communications Access (OLCA) for the City of Boston. Ivie was born and raised in Edo State, Nigeria, and came to Boston as a teenager with her family. As the Administration and Finance manager, Ivie manages the daily office operations, finances, and human resources; Ivie manages internal collaborations with other City Hall departments and external partnerships with vendors.

As an immigrant and public servant, Ivie believes in creating an accessible environment for all, and being an OLCA team member allows her to achieve those goals.

Ivie discovered her passion for public service through her studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Ivie earned her BA in Political Science and MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

Before joining OLCA, Ivie worked at the Venture Development Center at the University of Massachusetts Boston supporting immigrant-owned venture start-ups.

Ivie loves hanging out with family and friends, traveling, and dancing.
