Erika is the Research and Data Manager for the Mayor’s Office of Language and Communications Access (LCA). In this role, she is responsible for gathering data related to language and disability access and for providing informed analyses about constituents’ needs.
Prior to joining LCA, Erika worked as an Associate at a multinational accounting firm and provided international tax services to Latin American clients in a variety of industries. She has also worked as a researcher and translator for a start-up offering an innovative translation service for freelancers working in Latin America.
Erika is a native Spanish speaker and is proficient in French. She grew up in Southern California and moved to Massachusetts to attend Williams College where she graduated with a Bachelor's in Economics and French. Erika’s role allows her to combine her interests in language, data, and community building. She is honored to serve Boston residents by helping to tackle language barriers.
