Nitz-fa Dimanche
Nitz-fa Dimanche is a rising Boston University senior majoring in Political Science with a minor in International Relations. Leveraging a strong academic background and a passion for public service, she is actively contributing to improved municipal governance and community outreach through her role as a BU City Scholar Summer Fellow at Boston City Hall. Nitz-fa's commitment to public service extends beyond her current fellowship. Previously, she served as a Ward Fellow at Boston City Hall, supporting Councilor Campbell's Communication team and managing constituent communications. This experience honed her communication and interpersonal skills while solidifying her dedication to serving the community.
While deeply committed to public service, Nitz-fa also possesses a passion for creative expression. In her free time, she enjoys writing and performing spoken word poetry, and debating. Before attending BU, Nitz-fa was a student at the University of San Francisco, where she served as President of the debate team. Her dedication to these pursuits has been recognized with awards such as the Cochett Speaker Award on Human Rights and Social Justice. Nitz-fa's now volunteers with the Boston Debate League to keep her debate spirit alive while encouraging others to do the same.
