David Corbie

Greenovate Boston Outreach Manager

David was born and raised in Boston. David graduated Boston College with a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Faith, Peace, and Justice. Following graduation, David embarked on addressing a public health crisis that was affecting the residents of a nearby town. David worked as a Community Organizer in Roxbury and Dorchester, working on issues around health disparity, civic engagement, economic disparity, and racial equity. David also oversaw a program that worked to develop the next generation of civic leaders within the black community.

As the Greenovate Boston Outreach Manager, David manages the Greenovate Boston Leaders program, a program geared towards training Bostonians on how to be climate stewards for their communities by engaging in climate action. David also manages and implements Greenovate's community engagement programs and initiatives.

David is passionate about community development and uplifting the voices of the marginalized. David believes that all voices need to be involved in addressing climate change. He hopes that his work will inspire and help all Bostonians take action against climate change.
