Boston Community Choice Electricity Consumer Notification Letters

New Eversource Basic Service accounts are automatically enrolled in the Boston Community Choice Electricity program on a quarterly basis, unless they choose to opt-out. Prior to enrollment, each customer is mailed:

  • a consumer notification letter with program details,
  • a language access document, and
  • an opt-out reply card.

Please note:

  • If the customer signs and returns the opt-out reply card, they will not be enrolled in the Program.
  • If there is a supply block on your account, BCCE will not be able to enroll it automatically.
  • Accounts with a contract for competitive electricity supply will also not be automatically enrolled in the Program.

To learn how to enroll, please visit the BCCE page for step-by-step instructions.
