Kelly Sherman

Climate Resilience Project Manager

Kelly (she/her)  works in Office of Climate Resilience as a Climate Resilience Project Manager with a focus on coastal resilience and supporting role in heat resilience. As a project manager, she supports the development of neighborhood coastal resilience planning, the implementation of coastal resilience projects, and the cross-departmental integration of climate resilience into the City's planning, capital projects, and permit review.

Prior to her role with the Office of Climate Resilience, Kelly served as the Manager of Waterfront Design at Boston Harbor Now, championing Chapter 91 public spaces and ensuring that waterfront development along Boston Harbor was resilient, equitable, and accessible. Kelly also previously worked for the Boston Planning and Development Agency (now Planning Department) as a neighborhood planner for Charlestown, North End, Chinatown, Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and West Roxbury. Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Yale University and her Master of Arts in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University.
