Jasmin Argueta
Jasmin Argueta is the Youth and Career Development Coordinator in the Office of Youth Employment and Opportunity (YEO). She is responsible for overseeing the coordination and implementation of YEO's youth workforce development services, programs, and partnership development. Additionally, she is works to create and develop innovative programs based on youth labor research and trends. She holds a B.A from UMass Boston in Fine/Studio Arts and a Montessori certification from NEMTEC Boston.
A product of Boston's youth employment ecosystem, Jasmin is excited to make a positive impact on the programming that helped her land her first job as a teen at the South End Technology Center. This meaningful experience helped Jasmin decide her career early on and many years later she is back to pay it forward. In her role, she aims to expand resources for Boston's youth by increasing employment and career development opportunities in emerging industries that are popular amongst young professionals. Before joining the City of Boston, Jasmin was a Montessori pre-school teacher where she enjoyed guiding here students and giving them the best education experience possible.
In her spare time, Jasmin enjoys traveling, going to the beach, attending concerts, and discovering the best places for food, especially french fries, even if that means taking small road trips.
