DISCOVER Moakley will be a full day of fun with food, beach games, skateboarding, movies, and more! This event is free to the public and family friendly. Explore new recreational activities, learn about resilient landscapes, and discover the potential for Moakley Park. This event is open to individuals of all ages. There will be entertainment for children, activities for adults, and plenty food vendors. Learn about what is being done to make Moakley Park accessible to all of Boston, while enjoying the festivities at the same time! 

The event is a part of Climate Preparedness week, which is from September 24 - 30. Visit the Climate Preparedness week website to learn more.

Please consider volunteering for DISCOVER Moakley. We greatly appreciate the help our volunteers can contribute to making Discover Moakley a success! If you would like to volunteer, please fill out this google form. More information about the tasks and times are listed in the form. 

The event is hosted by the Boston's Parks and Recreation and Greenovate Boston, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay, Boston Harbor Now, The Trust for Public Land, and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
