After an extensive public planning process, a development Request for Proposals (RFP) was issued in July 2018, outlining a primary use of residential housing, with senior housing or housing that provides an intergenerational mix of residents as preferred. Madison Park Development Corporation was tentatively designated as the developer of this site in the summer of 2019. MPDC's proposal includes approximately 20 homeownership units, all of which will be affordable at a range of incomes. The building will also include a small commercial space for retail use.
