2 & 6 Lamartine, two residential buildings in Jamaica Plain, are now accepting lottery applications. There are 124 income-restricted rental units available, but you must earn at or below 50%, 60%, 80% and 100% Area Median Income (AMI) to qualify. There are 14 units built out for residents with disabilities; 3 of these units are built out for residents with hearing impairments. Apartments available to lease for qualified applicants include 31 studios, 32 one-bedrooms, 55 two-bedrooms, and 12 three-bedrooms. This residential building is located directly across from Stony Brook Station (MBTA Orange Line) and is less than a mile away from outdoor spaces such as Brookside Community Garden and Johnson Park. The building features bike storage, a resident lounge and the newly created Anna Mae Cole Community Center. The community center will serve as an open court for events and programming space for workshops and classes. The units at Mildred C Hailey have been renovated as well, featuring granite countertops and plank flooring. Utilities are included. Interested parties are encouraged to join an information session with The Community Builders Inc at Amory Street Apartments (125 Amory St, Boston MA 02119) on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 4pm.
