PFD - EXTERIOR REPAIRS AT ENGINE 9

The City of Boston acting by its Public Facilities Commission, through its Director of the Public Facilities Department (PFD), 26 Court St Boston, MA 02108 hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the PFD - Exterior Repairs at Engine 9 project. Project Location: 239 Sumner Street, East Boston 02128

The scope of work includes Repair apron and exterior work at Engine station 9. and is further detailed in the plans and specifications available electronically only on or about April 06, 2026, upon request submitted to bid.info@boston.gov. The estimated construction cost for this project is $548,708.

Pre-Bid Meeting: April 22, 2026, 10:30 AM at 239 Sumner Street, East Boston 02128

Filed Sub-bids and General Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit of the amount bid, DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility (approved in the applicable trade/category of work noted below), and DCAMM Update Statement. *All interested bidders are directed to the bid specifications and plans for full information on any and all requirements applicable to this bid.

All bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority at the Bid Counter, 26 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108 before 12:00 PM (Twelve o'clock pm) on May 05, 2026 for filed sub-bids and before 12:00 PM (Twelve o'clock pm) on May 19, 2026 for General bids at which time and place respective bids will be opened forthwith and read aloud in person and virtually. A performance bond and labor and materials payment bond satisfactory to the Awarding Authority in the sum of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder.
