Boston Public Schools (BPS) is interested in creating an aviation program, beginning with an elective or course sequence at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School. The overarching goal of this elective would be to create a pathway for interested students to enter the aviation industry, which currently has a shortage of pilots, technicians, and other personnel, with a disproportionately low share of Black, brown, and female pilots.
