INSTALLATION OF ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM AT VARIOUS PWD DISTRICT YARDS

 The City of Boston, acting by its commissioner, invites sealed bids for the performance of Provide, Install and Program Gallagher Security Access Control Systems to Manage Twelve (12) Doorways at Various Boston Public Works District Yards for Installation of access control systems for doors at various Public Works district yards comparable to access control system installed at 400 Frontage Road. Bid package may be obtained by visiting the Supplier Portal at boston.gov/supplierportal and searching for Event ID EV00016788 commencing at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025. A 5% or $50,000 Bid Bond (whichever is less) is required with the submission of each bid. A 100% Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidder.

 DCAMM Certification (M.G.L. c. 149, § 44D) General Bids will be valid only when accompanied by (1) a Certificate of Eligibility issued by DCAMM, showing that the contractor has been approved in Electronic Security Systems to bid on projects the size and nature of that advertised, and (2) an Update Statement summarizing the general contractor’s record for the period between the latest DCAMM certification and the date the general contractor submits its bid. Every Sealed bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Invitation for Bids and shall be filed not  later than Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. via the City’s Supplier Portal at boston.gov/supplierportal or emailed to Stephen.Flaherty@boston.gov with the email subject EV00016788 Access Control System IFB.

  Sealed bids shall be opened read aloud through a virtual meeting (meet.google.com/ugv-wfjq-brk) by the Official, Public Works on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Boston City Hall, Boston, MA. Interested parties will be able to view the event live through a link provided by Public Works, upon receiving your bid submission.
