Various Types of Automotive Repairs and Services
The City of Boston invites sealed bids for the performance of the work generally described below, and particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids. The bid documents will be accessible online from Monday, November 18, 2024 through Thursday, December 12th, 2024 at 1:00 PM, by visiting the City of Boston Public Procurement website at boston.gov/procurement/ and clicking on the supplier portal button to access event ID # EV00015179. Seven contracts will be issued for the following categories:
Automotive Repairs - Ford Passenger Cars and Light Duty Trucks
Automotive Repairs - General Motors Passenger Cars and Light Duty Trucks
Automotive Repairs - Toyota Passenger Cars
Automotive Repairs - Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram Passenger Cars & Light Duty Trucks
Automotive Repairs - Elgin Sweeper Equipment
Automotive Repairs - Tennant Sweeper Equipment
Automotive Repairs - Various Wrecker & Towing Equipment
The term of the contracts shall be for three (3) years starting January 1, 2025, and ending January 1, 2028.
The attention of all bidders is directed to the provisions of the Invitation for Bids and contract documents, specifically to the requirements for bid deposits, insurance, and performance bonds as may be applicable.
Bidders are further notified that they shall submit prices for and bid prices shall be compared on the basis of the highest average dollar amount for the entire period of performance.
