Communication Improvements at 104 Traffic Signals

The City of Boston (City), acting by and through its Commissioner of Transportation, invites electronic bids for the service generally described above, and particularly as set forth in Bid Documents (Documents).

These contracts are procured under the provisions of Chapter 30, Section 39M of the Massachusetts General Laws and are subject to the Prevailing Wage Rates. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid amount. Attention: Contractors cannot submit a bid without obtaining a Certificate of Approval Form from the Massachusetts Highway Department.

The IFB will be available on the City of Boston website at boston.gov/supplier portal (Bid Event EV00013306) beginning at 10:00 am, EST, on Monday, November 13, 2023. Completed documents must be signed and submitted electronically no later than 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

The term of the contract shall be for approximately 30 months starting on or about January 8, 2024, to June 30, 2026.
