WATER TREATMENT AND MAINTENANCE

The City of Boston acting by its Property Management Department (PMD), through its Commissioner of the Property Management Department (the Official), invites sealed bids for Water Treatment and Maintenance Services at Boston City Hall Plaza, as more particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids

The bid package may be obtained from the City's procurement website and Supplier Portal (http://cityofboston.gov/procurement) under Event ID EV00012522 beginning at 10:00 A.M. on May 29, 2023. The Invitation for Bids shall be available until the bid opening.

THE INDIVIDUAL SCOPE(S) OF WORK is further detailed in the specifications and includes the following: Monitor automatic chemical control system, UV, and filtration system.

Clean four IWF pump baskets.  Add water quality and safety chemicals as needed to maintain the system’s treatment tank Chemistry, as more particularly set forth in the specifications.

The contract will begin on July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2026, subject to availability of annual appropriations.

The City has arranged a site visit for Monday, June 12, 2023 at 10:00 am.  All potential bidders should meet in the Main Lobby at Boston City Hall at the Welcome Desk.

All bids shall be filed no later than 2:00 p.m. on June 21, 2023 at the above-mentioned site. All hard copy bids can be submitted to an Official at the Property Management Department, Boston City Hall, Room 811, Boston, MA 02201 on or before 2:00 P.M. on June 21, 2023.
