The City of Boston, acting by the Board of Trustees in charge of the Library Department of the City of Boston, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites requests for proposals for the project listed above. Proposals will be solicited from vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: https://www.boston.gov/departments/procurement.

All quotes for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: Research Collection Space and Storage Study

SCOPE OF WORK includes:  a consultant to review and measure the

existing research collection and determine how much space is needed to store

the collection in acceptable conditions that will improve their preservation outlook and

facilitate retrieval.

Proposals shall be due or submitted before 4:00 P.M., Boston time, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 and opened forthwith.

The Request for Proposal will be available on or about Monday, March 8, 2021.

A MANDATORY walk through will be on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 9:00AM Boston time, meeting at the Copley Library, 700 Boylston St, Boston, MA first, then travelling to the City of Boston Archive Center.
