Inspectional Services Relative to Construction and Utility Work

The City of Boston, acting through its Public Works Department invites Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide Inspectional Services relative to Construction and Utility work in the City of Boston.

The qualified consultant will provide construction and inspectional services on various construction projects including utility and private construction activities in the public Rights of Way. This contract is exempt from the provisions of Chapter G.L.c. 30B because it is a contract for Engineering Services and is awarded pursuant to G.L.c. 30.39M.  

Qualification Forms will be made available on September 12, 2022 and may be obtained by email request to Rachel Pierce at Rachel.Pierce@boston.gov. Response to these forms must be received no later than 12:00 PM on September 27, 2022.  Please submit responses to Boston Public Works, Room 714, 1 City Hall Sq, Boston MA 02201.

The Qualifications Forms must be kept in accordance with the established format, keeping in mind the project being advertised.

Project fees will be negotiated.  The Project Engineer should be a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
