Installation of Water Bottle Refill Stations - Package 2, Various Schools

The City of Boston Public Schools (the City), acting by and through its Office of Facilities Management, Planning & Engineering Department (the Awarding Authority), invites sealed bids for the above titled Project, subject to all applicable provisions of law, including, without limitation, Section 39F and 39K through 39P of Chapter 30, and sections 29 and 44A-44J, inclusive, of Chapter 149 of the General Laws, as amended and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract entitled: Installation of Water Bottle Refill Stations - Package 2, Various Schools.

SCOPE OF WORK includes but is not limited to: Demolition of existing drinking fountains or sinks for replacement with water bottle refill stations and the installation of water bottle refill stations at new locations without existing drinking water infrastructure. All units will be mounted on architectural enclosures. 

Quotes for filed sub bids shall be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Wednesday, February 2, 2022 and opened forthwith, and general bids shall be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 and opened forthwith. 

SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS will be available on or about Wednesday January 19, 2022 after 9:00 A.M., Boston time electronically by email by contacting Audrey Ng at ang@bostonpublicschools.org 

All bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid walk through of one school from Package 1A, which has been awarded and is in progress. The walk through will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2022 from 4pm to 5pm at Curley K-8 School at 40 Pershing Road, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
