    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to extend the property tax exemption for members of the Massachusetts National Guard and reservists who are serving in foreign countries, pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 59, Section 5 (56), the City of Boston shall extend the property tax exemption of up to 100% for active members of the National Guard or reservists for Fiscal Year 2018.

    Message and order authorizing the Boston Public Library Department to accept and expend a capital grant of Five Million Five Hundred Ninety-Seven Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Four Dollars ($5,597,374.00) from the Massachusetts Public Library Construction Program (MPLCP) per the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, for the renovation of the Dudley Branch Library.

    These matters were sponsored by Mayor Martin J. Walsh, and referred to the Committee on July 12, 2017 and August 2, 2017 respectively.
