Tree removal hearing: Commonwealth Avenue, Allston

The hearings will be held by the City of Boston’s Tree Warden (or designee) in the 3^rd floor Conference Room of the Boston Parks and Recreation Department at 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, Roxbury. 

The second hearing will be held at 11:30 a.m. on a request to remove 11 trees in the vicinity of 665 Commonwealth Avenue including three Bradford pear trees measuring 4, 6, and 8 inches dbh (diameter at breast height), five elm trees measuring between 4 and 6 inches dbh, and three oak trees measuring 5, 6, and 7 inches dbh due to construction of Boston University’s Data Sciences Center.

Public testimony will be taken at the hearings, or may be provided prior to the hearings in writing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3^rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118, or by emailing parks@boston.gov with “Allston Tree Hearings” in the subject line.
