Tree Removal Hearing - South Boston #2

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold three public hearings on Thursday, October 5.

  1. Requests to remove public shade trees in South Boston

    The second request, to be heard at 12 p.m. (noon), is for the removal of three golden rain trees measuring 2 and 4 inches dbh and one amur maackia tree measuring 3 inches dbh at the intersection of Greenbaum Street and Broadway as part of the South Bay Harbor Trail project. 

    Public testimony will be taken at the hearings, or may be provided prior to the hearings in writing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, Boston, MA 02118 or by emailing parks@boston.gov with “South Boston Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
