Felida Milhomme

LCA Specialist

Félida is an LCA Specialist for the Mayor’s Office of Language and Communications Access.

Before joining OLCA, Félida worked as a Senior Program Associate at a national

foundation, where she was known for her values-driven approach to building strong

partnerships with diverse stakeholders.  She also served on various steering

committees/advisory councils; collaborating with leadership to develop new policies and strategies to influence direct programmatic and organizational changes through risk management recommendations as an advocate for marginalized communities.

The mission of OLCA deeply aligns with her experience and passion for social

empowerment through equitable opportunities.  Consequently, she knows the importance of organizations that address issues with societal significance, and in that regard, her professional journey would allow me to bring a new and unique perspective to this team.

Félida completed her undergraduate studies at Boston College in 2017 and dreams of

serving at the United Nations.  Her hobbies include designing and sewing clothes, cooking, and volunteering.  She is fluent in French and Haitian Creole and has limited working proficiency in Spanish.

Félida believes that work should be like life: defined by meaningful experiences that help us blossom into better versions of ourselves.  Thus, working in OLCA puts her in a unique and vital position to not only promote greater public access and participation in government services but also to grow alongside innovative individuals, continue to learn, and make greater contributions to the great City of Boston.
