Boston Public Schools (BPS) Rideshare Program

The BPS Rideshare Program is designed to address the diverse transportation needs of Boston Public School students, ensuring equitable, safe, and reliable access to educational opportunities and extracurricular activities. The program will prioritize students impacted by environmental barriers and chronic absenteeism while addressing transportation needs in the following key areas: Special Needs Students, Court-Involved or Safety-Concerned Students, Special Events, Sports and Competitions, and Emergency Situations.

 

Proposals will be submitted through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement.

The RFP will be available on the City’s procurement website and Supplier Portal via boston.gov/procurement on or after Monday, 12/30/2024, after 12:00 P.M. Boston time and will

remain available until the date and time of the opening of proposals. Proposals shall be submitted before 5:00 P.M., Boston time, Tuesday, 01/21/2025, and open forthwith following State and City procurement practices.

 If submitting via paper, price and technical proposals shall be submitted separately in sealed, clearly labelled envelopes on or before 5:00 P.M., Boston time, 01/21/2025, to Nathaniel Carrington, Assistant Director Business Services, Finance Department, 4th Floor, Boston Public Schools, 2300 Washington Street, Boston MA 02119. Failure to submit separate sealed price and  technical proposals shall disqualify the entire proposal.
