PROVISION OF ACTUARIAL SERVICES

The City of Boston (“the City”), acting by and through its City Auditor (“the Official”), hereby requests sealed proposals from interested and qualified parties (“Offerors”) to provide Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) Actuarial Valuations as defined by Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statements No. 43 and 45 and Accounting Valuation Reports as defined by GASB Statement No.75 and any related technical bulletins and pronouncements.

All proposals shall be submitted in strict conformance with the Request for Proposal (RFP), which may be obtained from the City’s procurement website and supplier Portal (https://www.boston.gov/departments/procurement) under Event ID EV00011797 or at the Auditing Department, Boston City Hall, Room M-4, One City Hall Square, Boston, MA 02201.

Request for Proposals shall be available on March 13, 2023, until the proposal filing deadline.  All proposals shall be filed no later than April 5, 2023, at 12 Noon EST.

The attention of all proposers is directed to the provisions of the Request for Proposals and contract documents for specific requirements as may be required.

The term of this contract shall not exceed five (5) years.
