Andrew Espinosa is the Director of Investigations for the Office of Fair Housing and Equity (FHE). In this role, Andrew oversees investigations into housing discrimination in the City of Boston, including Commission-initiated complaints that are the result of the City's partnership with Suffolk University's Housing Discrimination Testing Program. Andrew advises staff throughout the intake and investigation process, oversees settlement efforts, and works to create and promote fair housing policy. Andrew also coordinates with FHE's sister agencies, such as the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Prior to joining the City of Boston, Andrew worked for the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) as an Investigations Supervisor. Andrew graduated from Tufts University in 2012 with a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature, and he holds J.D. with a concentration in International Law and Human Rights from Northeastern University School of Law. He is a resident of Brighton and a lifelong resident of Massachusetts.
